Anna Sui Timeline

1991 -- First runway show

1992 -- Opens first boutique on Greene Street in Soho

1997 -- Anna Sui shoes premiere on her runway. Manufactured by Ballin in Venice, Italy, the shoe collection is comprised of both day and evening styles, including velvet, laser cut leather patterns and suede.

1997 -- First two freestanding Anna Sui boutiques open in Tokyo and Osaka. The Isetan company is the main licensee for the distribution and sales of the Anna Sui women's collection in Japan. They are also responsible for the sub licensee's production of Anna Sui accessory products. Mamina, a subsidiary of Isetan is the distributor to department and specialty stores including all Anna Sui shop in shops and free standing boutiques.

1997 -- Anna Sui signs a fragrance deal with Wella AG of Germany (now a division of P&G Prestige Products) to develop a signature fragrance. In a three-sided arrangement, P&G shares the Anna Sui beauty business with Japanese cosmetics maker Albion, which holds the Anna Sui color cosmetics and skin care license. Under the agreement, P&G will produce and market Anna Sui fragrances while Albion introduces the Anna Sui color collection in Japan. P&G will sell the fragrances to Albion, which will distribute them inside Japan, while Albion will sell the color cosmetics to P&G for distribution outside of Japan.

1999 -- Debut of signature fragrance Anna Sui and cosmetic line

2000 -- Launch of skincare line and second fragrance, Sui Dreams

2001 -- Launch of third fragrance, Sui Love

2003 -- Launch of fourth fragrance, Dolly Girl which is followed by limited edition Dolly Girl Ooh La Love in 2004

2005 -- Anna Sui designs limited edition Anna Sui mobile phone with Samsung

2005 -- Launch of fifth fragrance, Secret Wish. The fragrance was introduced exclusively in the US with American lingerie and beauty retailer Victoria's Secret which will also carry Anna Sui cosmetics beginning in 2006 along with the latest Dolly Girl limited edition, Dolly Girl On the Beach.

2006 -- Limited edition Anna Sui Boho Barbie is launched with Mattel

2006 -- Global Distribution of Anna Sui clothing and accessory products --Over 300 sales outlets in 30 Countries

--32 Boutiques/Shop n Shops in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and USA

--27 Accessory Boutiques/Shop n Shops in Taiwan, Korea, Hong Kong and Shanghai
